Hi Everyone! Today was the start of my 5 day weekend so I made some home-made Gyoza, also known as Japanese dumplings with stuff that I already had at home. This is a very simplified version of Gyoza, and I don't have everything that "real" Gyoza's have, but it still works just as fine. This was my first time photographing a food pictorial so please bare with me. I know I'm not very specific and I don't have any measurements, but I'll do better next time when I don't have to have one eye on little kids and one eye on making food. I hope you all find it pretty self-explanatory! Use good judgement and you'll be just fine. Other than that, please leave me a comment if you have any questions! Thanks for stopping by!
XOXO, S I've been eyeing this lens for a long, long time now. I really want to buy it!! BUT, due to the fact that I'm not working full-time right now, I either pay for a lens or pay for my certification exam for dental assisting ... the answer is obviously a no brainer right? =( I know ... Ugh! Soon! Soon! I'll get this and then get lightroom and then I'll be content for a little while =)
P.S. I'm starting a little project soon. Stay tune! Since the heat has semi-visited, my face has been very oily and acne has been my unpleasant guest who refuses to leave. I've used a lot of over the counter medications and as well as some of the well-known Asian face creams to help with the acne, but none have worked so far.
I was at the face wash aisle at Target when I saw Clean & Clear's trio. It seemed like a reasonable purchase at the time ... but then again, anything you buy for spur of the moment of kind a thing, it doesn't always work out right. Well ... turns out I should've listened to my conscience. I used these 3 products for about a week. The first couple of days, it was magic! Almost all of my acne disappeared over night ... after those couple of days, it was disaster! It was like the calm before the storm =( As most of you may already know, these acne reducing products along with all the other ones you can find, all contain some amount of salicylic acid, which may make your skin dry ... and ugh, was my skin dry!!!!! This pack even comes with a moisturizer, and it didn't help at all! My skin was dry, not all over, but there were patches and patches of dry skin on my forehead and my chin =( It lasted for days! No matter how much I moisturized my face, it didn't help. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product. It works for others but not for all. I'd love to hear your opinion of these if you've used them before! Leave me a comment! Kong and I went over a couple weeks ago to help my parents renovate their deck. It's about time the old one came apart cause it literally was tearing itself apart. My parents got all new wood and changed where the stairs went and the width of it. They did pretty much finish the whole deck a couple days later but will still be adding a couple more things to it, like a built in bench at one of the corners and a walk out made of bricks with a man made fire bit. Can't wait to see it all come together!
Thanks for being so patient as I try to finish off these next few weeks of my externship as well as taking all my dental assisting boards. Thank you to those who routinely stop by to check for new updates! I'm so sorry I haven't had anything for you guys for such a long time now. I haven't had the time to pick up my camera yet, but I'm hoping to get a better and more interesting post up this weekend.
See you soon! XOXO, S I absolutely hated radiology, as a matter of fact, I still do. However, under my circumstances, I have to get reeeaaall comfortable with this guy for the next month. I'm getting ready to take my dental assisting boards in the next month. So whoop de doo for radiography!
